Welcome to Santa Paws Siberians, a small home-based cattery where our genuine passion for these magnificent cats shines through in every kitten we raise. Our journey began with a simple love for Siberian cats and has grown into a heartfelt dedication to sharing these wonderful companions with families across the nation.
Our love affair with Siberian cats began years ago when we first encountered this remarkable breed. We were immediately captivated by their stunning beauty, luxurious triple coats, and most importantly, their incredible personalities. Siberians possess an almost dog-like devotion to their families, following their humans from room to room and greeting them at the door after a long day.
When we learned about their naturally lower levels of Fel d 1 protein the primary allergen that affects cat-sensitive individuals we knew we had found something special. This unique characteristic means that many people who previously thought they could never have a cat can now experience the joy of feline companionship with a Siberian.
What started as a personal passion has blossomed into Santa Paws Siberians. We chose our name to reflect the warmth, joy, and holiday magic that these cats bring into our lives and the lives of the families who welcome them home. Every day with our Siberians feels like unwrapping a gift, and we are honored to share that experience with others.
Today, we are committed to raising healthy, well-socialized Siberian kittens that will become cherished members of their new families. We believe that every kitten deserves the best possible start in life, and we work tirelessly to ensure our cats receive the highest quality nutrition, veterinary care, and love from the moment they are born until they transition to their forever homes and beyond.
Siberian cats produce significantly lower levels of the Fel d 1 protein, which is the primary cause of allergic reactions in cat-sensitive individuals. While individual responses vary and no cat is entirely allergen-free, many people with mild to moderate cat allergies find they can live comfortably with Siberians. This makes them an ideal choice for families who have always dreamed of having a cat but were previously held back by allergy concerns.
Siberians are renowned for their dog-like personalities and unwavering loyalty. They are affectionate without being overly demanding, intelligent enough to learn tricks and play fetch, and gentle enough to be wonderful companions for children. Their playful nature persists well into adulthood, and they form deep, lasting bonds with their human families.
With their luxurious triple coats, tufted ears, and expressive eyes, Siberians are truly stunning cats. They come in a wide variety of colors and patterns, from classic brown tabbies to striking silver varieties and rare colorpoints. Despite their impressive coats, they are surprisingly easy to maintain with regular brushing, and their water-resistant fur naturally resists matting.
As a natural breed that evolved in the forests of Russia over centuries, Siberian cats are generally healthy and hardy. They have developed a robust constitution that serves them well throughout their lives. With proper nutrition, regular veterinary care, and a loving home environment, Siberians typically enjoy long, healthy lives of 15 to 20 years or more.
Every kitten receives individual attention and affection from birth, ensuring they develop into confident, well-adjusted companions.
Our kittens grow up in our family home, naturally exposed to everyday sounds, children, and household activities for optimal socialization.
We prioritize comprehensive health testing, age-appropriate vaccinations, and regular veterinary care for all our breeding cats and kittens.
Our breeding program focuses on temperament, health, and maintaining the wonderful characteristics that make Siberians exceptional family pets.
